You may have heard information in the news lately regarding the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and facial fillers. There have been a few reports regarding swelling around the area of filler injections after receiving the vaccine, but we’re here to dispel some of your worries.

Did you know out of a study with around 30,000 patients, only 4 of those showed signs of swelling after receiving the Moderna vaccine? With such low numbers, you shouldn’t be too hesitant about how the vaccine affects your facial fillers. It’s always important to remain vigilant about how your body reacts to things, but these infrequent signs of swelling aren’t too much of a cause for concern.
