Hi everyone. I’m super excited about two new things that we brought into the practice at Davis Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. The first one is the new version of thread lifting. I’ve been watching the technology for a long time and as a lot of you probably know, I used to be one of the trainers of the contour thread lift.

That went away, and the new versions of these have come back out because now these threads are dissolvable, but one of the really cool things that the brand new Nova threads kind of give us is the ability to lift the tissues keep them there long enough so that they can dissolve but also long enough so that your own body can start to form collagen in those areas to hold it into place.

Very exciting technology. The second thing that we brought in is a new radio frequency micro needling device.

The beauty of this, if you really think about it is we’re able to place energy into the tissues causing those tissues to tighten. And if we combine that with some of these threads just imagine the kind of lift and kind of tightening that you can get totally without any surgery. Remember the facelift, neck lifts and all the mini facelifts and things that we do are still available, but we have a lot of patients now that are trying to enter into this realm of cosmetic plastic surgery at a younger age.

Hi, everyone. I wanted to make sure that I was talking to you about all the different types of breast surgeries that I’ve been doing over the past few months, and it’s very interesting because a lot of patients have been coming in to have something like a breast lift performed, and what we can do now is very, very interesting.

What we’re able to do is take your own breast tissue and actually use that as the breast implant, and we’ve been using this now, this new technique, for awhile, where we’re actually taking your own breast issue, that’s probably in a little bit of a low position and actually pinning it to a place on your chest wall where it should be, and then tailoring the skin around that.

And the fascinating thing is all the patients that we’ve done actually say to me that everybody thinks that they’ve had breast implants, but really what we’ve done is just put their own breast tissue in a higher location to make their breasts look more perky, firm, and youthful.

The second part of this is very, very interesting also because we have patients that have lost a lot of their volume and what we can do is the same technique but actually utilize the newer version of the breast implants that are these brand new, generation five silicone gel breast implants.

So it’s another thing to talk about, but I’ve been seeing a lot of patients coming in talking about this stuff. I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know. It is something that we’re doing a lot of, and I’ll be talking to you again real soon.
