At our Cherry Hill, NJ plastic surgery practice, we are taking all of the proper precautions for COVID-19. As the world adjusts to this new way of life, we’re doing all we can to keep our patients happy and healthy.
Following the cancellations of all elective surgeries at the hospital, we have discovered a brand new way to handle office hours. We expect this new way of performing consultations to become the new normal for most other practices.
We have proudly reached out to all of our new patients to explain our latest policy. Tune in to find out what this new process entails or contact us directly.

Hi, Dr. Steven Davis at Davis Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. With all the uncertainty that’s surrounding us now, with COVID-19, we wanted to come out and really talk with you about all the new things that we’re instituting here at Davis Cosmetic Plastic Surgery.
We stopped doing all the elective surgeries at the hospitals, but what we noticed when we were calling our patients to have them rescheduled, that many of you were saying this happens to be the best time to get certain procedures done in our office. Injectables, or any in-office procedures that we do, so was there any way that we could try to do these things in the most safe manner possible?
And I have to tell you that me, along with the rest of my team, have really gotten together, and we have come up with a brand-new way of handling office hours.
And for as far as I can see, this may be the new norm for a lot of ways offices are going to handle patients. Here’s what we’ve done: We started last week, calling all our patients, and asking if they wanted to reschedule for the future.
If not, what we explain to them is our new policy, and this is what we’re doing, we’re having you drive up, in your car, and wait in our parking lot. At that time, you make a phone call to us, and let us know that you’re here.
We will have already had an exam room ready for you, and we will call you back and say ‘It’s ready to go.’ We’ll meet you at the door with hand sanitizer, a mask, and we’ll escort you personally into your room. Be advised that the safety of our personnel is also one of our priorities, so if you can supply yourself with hygiene products such as Hand Sanitizer before you come, it is advised that you sanitize yourself before you leave for your appointment.
There is no longer a waiting room, it is a personalized experience, just for you. In the room, we’ll be there, and we will actually being doing the procedures to you. Once it’s over, you’ll go right back, with an escort, to your car, and that’s gonna be your full jaunt, if you will, through the practice. And the most important thing, it’s really all about your personalized experience here.
So if you feel you need a video consultation, we can set that up for you as well, but if you like this whole idea, please call us or email, and we’ll be more than happy to go through the entire process again. Please stay healthy, stay safe, and I’m looking forward to seeing you soon.
