Hi it’s Angela from the Skin’s Spa, and you could probably guess what I’m gonna talk to you today about. But, did you know that mud mask and clay masks have been one of the oldest natural beauty treatments that are still being used today?
But why do we even want to apply a mud mask to our skin? Well, for obvious reasons it’s very detoxifying, it removes any excess oils from our skin, it cleans out the impurities from our pores, it removes the dead skin cells, leaving the skin feeling soft, silky and radiant.
If you do not have a clay mask at your disposal, I’m gonna tell you how you can make your own. Just reach out to your natural health store or pharmacy, it comes in a powder form.
There are different ones to select from you have French Green, you have Bentonite Fuller’s earth and you’re going to take two tablespoons of the clay powder, to one to two tablespoons of distilled water.
You’re going to make that mixture it’s gonna be silky and smooth and you’re gonna apply it evenly to the skin, allowed to sit for like 15 to 20 minutes and mine has been on for about that long. You’re gonna rinse with warm water unless you have an aesthetic tool like myself and I’m just going to start to remove, (soft music the clay.
And when we return, you’re gonna see the after you can probably also see my hair is also receiving a treatment. Months ago I had invested in all these hair and scalp masks never had time, to do them now I have time to do them. So when we return, you’ll see the after and both my skin and my hair, stay tuned.
Hi I’m back, as you can see both products have been removed, and I have to say I’m very happy with how my hair turned out it does appear thicker and fuller and I like the coils that I have here, I just finished applying my skincare products to my skin my personal protocol and if you need assistance with your skin care regimen don’t hesitate to reach out to either myself or Jacqueline, and we can create a skincare regimen that’s tailored for your skin type.
And lastly, I have on my tinted sunblock, my daily defense is my BB Cream , my go-to getting ready to walk the dog and I just want to make sure that my skin is fully protected from the UVA and UVB.
But the main message is while being quarantine just don’t forget to take care of your skin, take advantage of the time that we have. I want you to stay safe, stay healthy, until I see you back in the Skin Spa. And remember, your skin is your best accessory. See you soon.
