After hearing the phrase “breast implants,” what comes to mind? More often than not, it’s the idea of a bigger bust with an exaggerated appearance. Here at Davis Cosmetic Plastic Surgery, not everything that has to do with breast implants is related to size.
Sure, added volume can be nice, but that’s not always what patients are looking for. Keep in mind that new and improved breast augmentation techniques can put more of a focus on shape rather than size. Particularly for aging women or those who want to refine their breasts, shaping with breast implants is an ideal solution.
For more on size vs. shape for breast implants, Dr. Davis’s new video below is the perfect place to start!

We’ll do a couple here and now. Breast implants really are something that we talk a lot about in office hours. And we talk about with patients all the time.
But one of the things I don’t know if everybody really knows about is the sense that it doesn’t have to necessarily make you a lot bigger. They could just help your shape. They could just help to make the size be more compatible with what you’ve always wanted them to be. So next time you’re thinking about doing something to like, make your breast look better.
One of the things that you could really consider is doing something with a breast implant that utilizes the shape of that implant to give you possibly a better shape of your own breasts.
Dr. Steven Davis of Davis Cosmetic Plastic Surgery in Cherry Hill, New Jersey wants to ensure the comfort of all patients, which begins with education. We hope our video series can provide useful information for those with upcoming appointments or interested in the behind-the-scenes action of plastic surgery.
